Hello, I’m Mel Grech, a Certified Animal Behaviourist (International Canine Behaviourists, ICB)

I founded nose to tail in 2018, following four years of providing dog walking, day care and boarding, immersed in dog health and behaviour issues twenty four hours a day.

My life was turned upside down when I got a puppy, eleven years ago. The daycare she went to was creating behaviour problems and I didn’t know how I was going to go back to work. So I decided that I would look after her, and some other dogs myself!

This has given me an understanding of the challenges faced by dogs and their people in the area. I have experience of living with dogs of all ages, many breeds, and hosting and walking more puppies than I could ever have in a lifetime. I also got to know the green spaces in the area and beyond, very well.

I live with two senior English Toy Terriers, that have taught me so much.

Level 5 diploma in Canine Behaviour (with Distinction), ISCP (International School of Canine Psychology)

Currently studying Level 6 canine behaviour with The School of Canine Science and OFQUAL Level 3 Canine Nutrition with Canine Holistic Science Academy
I have done many short courses and webinars on dog behaviour, training, health and nutrition.
